To easily apply for duplicate parking plates in Alicante:
The plates will be issued with the sticker for the year of the fee submitted in the application form. Please note that, depending on your case, the city council will require:
In case of theft of the plate(s): The corresponding report.
In case of damage: Once the new plate(s) have been installed, the old one(s) must be delivered to the department indicated by the city council.
In case of loss or failure to apply for and collect the plates in the year of the grant: Remember to attach the fee paid for the current year to the application.
When the city council sends the grant document, please call us or send it to akrasenalrfa@akrasenal.com, providing a contact number so we can prepare the plates and notify you when you can pick them up.
The plates cost €15 each (€30 for a set of two) and must be paid upon collection by cash or bank card. If you require an invoice, please remember to provide the billing information when collecting the plates.
We also add that the SAIC also has an office at 1 Pino Santo Street, in case that's more convenient or closer to you.
For collecting updated stickers for fords in Alicante:
The update sticker issuance hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
If the fee is not direct debited:
Wait for the payment letter from the city council; they are usually sent in early March.
Carefully read the instructions in the attached register.
Pay the fee using the payment methods indicated at the bottom of the tax form.
Check the documentation you must present at the ford issuing company. The documentation required is detailed below depending on the tax payment method:
If the fee is paid through the city council website:
At the time of payment, you will be asked for an email address to which the receipt will be sent, which you must present along with the tax. *If the fee is paid in person at a bank or at the city council offices: you must present the stamped tax or a receipt indicating the tax reference number.
If paid at an ATM:
You must present the tax along with the receipt indicating the tax reference number. If this is not indicated, you must provide the receipt generated by your bank after payment, which may take a few days depending on the bank. *If the receipt is paid online by bank transfer or through your bank's app or website: you must present the tax along with the receipt generated by your bank that includes the city council reference number.
If the fee is direct debit:
You will receive the charge notice along with the register informing you of the date of the charge. These documents are not valid for collecting the update stickers. Wait for the receipt to be generated, which is usually charged on April 3rd and created a few days later. Download the receipt through your bank's app or website, or request it from your bank if they don't send it by regular mail. If they send it by regular mail, you will have to wait to receive it. Check that the receipt shows the ford number, which can be indicated explicitly or in the last four digits of the direct debit reference number, which has this format: 10700010xxxx or 10700020xxxx. If you cannot find the ford number and the receipt indicates the EALIA website with a 6-digit code, go to www.ealia.es/recibos and fill out the form to access the receipt you must submit.
