Power Systems
At AKRA-SEÑAL, we can use power supply systems for signals. There are three types of power supply systems explained below.
GRID POWER: 220V 50Hz AC transformer --> 12V DC
SOLAR POWER: Stand-alone power supply systems using solar panels, charge controllers, and batteries are also available. These systems must be sized based on sunlight, device consumption, and the required runtime. As a guide:
1. 15W solar panel kit + controller and 8Ah battery. ø60, 60x60, Δ90 signals and good sunlight.
2. 20W solar panel kit + controller and 14Ah battery. ø60, 60x60, Δ90 signals and poor sunlight or ø90, 90x90, Δ135 signals and good sunlight.
3. 30W solar panel kit + regulator and 14Ah battery. 90°, 90x90°, Δ135°, and low-sun signals.
4. 60W solar panel kit + regulator and one or two 48Ah batteries, for educational radars and S-21 signals.
MIXED SYSTEM: Power supply system connected to street lighting, equipped with charge regulators and batteries. Nighttime charging and 24-hour operation.
